Kickstart Apprentices can now receive extra mentoring and support
If you’ve commenced an apprenticeship through either the Kickstart or Kickstart Extension program, you could receive extra mentoring support to help you towards your qualification.

Kickstart mentoring and support services provide you with additional advice and support to help ensure a smooth transition into your new career.
You’ll be assigned with an Apprenticeship Mentor who has in-depth knowledge and experience suited to your situation, and to your industry. Your mentor will be available to provide you with advice or support in many different ways, including:
- Help filling out paperwork
- Help dealing with work-related issues
- Help answering any questions you may have about your apprenticeship
- Help recommencing your apprenticeship if you’ve left your trade
This new service is available for free to Kickstart Apprentices aged 19 years and under in skill shortage industries.
