Kickstart Apprentices can now receive extra mentoring and support

If you’ve commenced an apprenticeship through either the Kickstart or Kickstart Extension program, you could receive extra mentoring support to help you towards your qualification.

Following the success of the initial Apprentice Kickstart over the summer of 2009-2010, the government has decided to extend the Kickstart program for a further six months, supporting around 22,500 new apprenticeship places in traditional trades.
Five Star and Access help job seekers!

In January 2010 a team from Employment Solutions met with Lauren Mills, Director of Five Star Training to discuss the possibility to be involved in the Access program, a service that runs apprenticeships for disadvantaged job seekers and eventually helps them recruit stable work positions.
