Centrelink Jobs Expos 2010

Centrelink is holding a series of Jobs Expos across Australia as part of the Australian Government’s Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan. The Centrelink Jobs Expos support the 'Keep Australia Working' initiative, an Australia wide Federal Government strategy supporting Australian jobs and industry.

VIC - Dandenong, 15/04/10 - Dandenong Market
VIC - Shepparton, 14/05/10 - Shepparton Sports Stadium
QLD - Bundaberg, 19/05/10 - Bundaberg Civic Centre
QLD - Ipswich, 21/05/10 - Ipswich Showgrounds
QLD - Gympie, 28/05/10 - The Pavilion Gympie Showgrounds
QLD - Sunshine Coast, 04/06/10 - Lake Kawana Centre
NSW - Penrith, 10/06/10 - Panthers Centre
The Jobs Expos provide a vehicle for employers, industry groups, recruitment and training providers, and other key stakeholders, to participate in a local community event to provide people with access to job vacancies, information about options that enhance employability, training opportunities, as well as information about other related local support services.
Mission Australia Employment Solutions will attend the expos, where we have a local site situated, and will be available to provide you with information and advice regarding job searching, apprenticeships and traineeships, and training opportunities.
To date Centrelink has coordinated 9 Jobs Expos around Australia with over 30,000 Job Seekers and well over 500 Exhibitors attending.
