Tweed Valley: Mission Australia Supports Tomorrow's Leaders
Mission Australia Employment Solutions is helping shape tomorrow's leaders by sponsoring the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards held in the Tweed Valley 30 January to 5 February. The Rotary Youth leadership program is a premier youth leadership development program designed to promote personal and professional development of Australian youth who have been identified to hold future leadership potential.

The aim of Mission Australia Employment Solutions is to help jobseekers source quality jobs that match their capabilities and long term goals.
Mission Australia Regional Manager, Danielle Veivers, said the organisation felt the program was a great match for their services and was excited to be a key sponsor of the event.
'The Rotary Youth Leadership Award program is a very important initiative, and we are proud to be supporting an event that is helping to shape tomorrow's leaders,' Ms Veivers said.
'With the current youth unemployment rate for the country 11.2 per cent for 15-24yr olds, it is important we get behind Rotary and help develop pathways to a better life for our next generation of jobseekers.'
The Rotary Youth Leadership Award program was held from 30 January to 5 February 2010 and was attended by approximately 100 future Australian leaders.
The core curriculum of the week-long program utilised workshops and lectures that introduce the fundamentals of effective leadership, character building, confidence, emotional intelligence and leading change.
'We are sure this program has assisted Australia's future leaders to be well on their way to achieving their personal and professional goals,' Ms Veivers said.
